We had an extremely disappointing experience at this place and truly regret visiting. We ordered six pieces of chicken, a chicken burger, and fries. When we asked for a cup of water, we were handed a tiny sauce container instead—not ideal, but we let it slide. The food was served surprisingly quickly, but it became obvious why. The chicken was appalling. It had a foul odor, tasted undercooked, and had an unpleasant pink, rubbery texture. Worse still, it was completely soaked in oil that seemed old and unclean. Concerned about the quality, we approached the manager. To our shock, he admitted that other customers had raised similar complaints but dismissed it, saying, “That’s just how we prepare our chicken.”The chicken burger wasn’t any better. It was dry, flavorless, and the chicken inside was equally drenched in stale oil.To top it off, my friend had a similarly terrible experience. Their chicken was also pink, had an off-putting smell, and was entirely inedible. In the end, we had to throw the chicken away, effectively wasting £.The next day, I experienced severe food poisoning and spent a long time unwell. Frankly, I’m shocked that this place is still allowed to operate. The entire experience was the worst I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. For the sake of your health, avoid it at all costs.

I went to Popeyes for a quick bite and ordered a chicken wrap and fries. I was shocked by how oily both items were. The chicken inside the wrap was so greasy that it completely ruined the whole thing. The fries were just as bad—way too oily to enjoy. I know fast food isn’t the healthiest, but this was just too much. I can’t imagine eating that much oil in just a wrap and fries. Overall, a really disappointing experience, and I won’t be coming back.

Convenient alternative to KFC very close to the Westgate shopping centre. Very busy understandably due to its great tasting chicken. Would be nice to see some diversity in the staff but seems to be the standard now that it’s predominantly one nationality, which is fine apart from the language barrier.. The prices here are a bit expensive yet the children’s meals are very cheap. So overall you’d spend about the same as KFC. Although I enjoyed the taste I don’t think there’s anything I ordered that really had a true ‘Louisiana’ taste. Lowered recent review due to the companies fake offers I.e. ‘error try again’ for an offer and then is disappears from the app. In store management useless at resolving and don’t even know the companies own contact details even though they say ‘contact head office’Parking: Only paid parking at the nearby Westgate centre
